Whole Lot of Nothing

That's pretty much what we did this weekend.

Friday: Went to the club for date night.

Saturday: Drew ended up working all day while I was taking my CMP practice exam. It was a great exercise. While I wasn't totally thrilled with my results, our study group leader assured me it was a very solid score. It definitely brought to light a few areas that I need to spend some more time on. It was also great practice for pacing yourself for a pretty gruelling 4 hour exam. (Especially with no food or drink allowed and no bathroom breaks. Quite a feat for a pregnant woman!) Just under 3 weeks now to the real exam. I'm definitely not feeling cocky, but if I keep doing more of the same for these final weeks I think I'll be fine. Saturday night we made enchiladas and hung out at home watching the Royals.

Sunday: This was the whole lot of nothing day. After a long family walk this morning (Ruby included) we had a big french toast breakfast. Then we watched most of the British Open on TV. Drew worked in the yard some (our tomatoes are growing like crazy and boy are they delicious!) and I pretty much avoided the 100 degree weather. In fact, this is what happens when I get bored...dark chocolate pie:

Next week things get a bit busier. I have a Dr. appointment on Tuesday - nothing exciting this time so I think Drew's going to sit this one out. Thursday, I'm off to Boston for a girls weekend with Cortney before driving up the coast to Portland, ME on Sunday for a board meeting.
