It was a cool and rainy day in Lawrence, but that didn't stop us from tailgating with the Jayhawk faithful. And boy did we tailgate! We made big strides this week and added a canopy, propane stove, more food, more beer and more people to our arsenal. Despite the rain, we had a fabulous time. So fabulous, in fact, Austin, Kate, Drew & I didn't even venture into the football game. It's an early season game and we had complete confidence in our Jayhawks...so why leave the cozy comfort of our tent where we had food, drinks and stayed plenty dry? The radio and the cheers of the crowd right behind us kept us well informed on the status of the game. Of course, when Big XII season starts and the games get a little more interesting we will be in the stadium with the rest of the fans rain, snow or shine!
