The fun started before he even got out of bed.
Then Drew headed to the golf course. He ended up coming home early. It was really hot and wet from the storms the night before so he called it quits after 9 holes. (Which really means he was playing poorly and had a tantrum.) He didn't mind coming home though - it just meant more time to watch the US Open and hang out with Jackson. And eat the chocolate chip cheesecake I made for him (his favorite). Nothing like the sugar high of chocolate chip cheesecake and a sonic coke!
Later in the afternoon we had a visitor. Drew's Dad stopped by to see the boys.
We had planned to go back to the club for dinner followed by Jackson's first time out on the golf course with Daddy. As it turned out, it was awfully hot to be outside. And after all that cheesecake neither of us wanted a big dinner anyway. So we stayed home and had a quiet evening as a family.

How sweet! I am glad Drew had a good Father's Day. Ashlyn bought her daddy the same book Jackson bought his daddy too :)
Talk to you soon!
Bran
Brandie,
Funny! Jack & Ash are thinking alike already!! (Or, at least their very smart mommies are!) I wonder what that means for us when they're 16? :)
