Only 2 days left of this extended "vacation" and I'm happy to report I've made some major progress on my to-do list. My most recent accomplishment: Christmas decorations.
I scaled back this year. Jackson is into absolutely
everything. If something is within his reach it will either find it's way to his mouth, Ruby's mouth (Jack is pretty good about sharing things) or onto the floor in pieces. Which means this year's decorations are up high. But I'm happy with the few areas that I did focus on.
Like the mantle.

And the entertainment center.

I also wrapped the presents we already have. Still a few more to purchase, but we're getting close.

For the record, wrapping paper tubes make
awesome toys!

Today,
we Drew hung the outside lights. Would you believe it was 65 degrees and sunny on November 27th? A perfect day for climbing around on the roof.

It was at this point that I nearly had a heart attack.

So the lights are up, decorations are out and presents are wrapped. All we're missing is a tree. Which is on tomorrow's to do list.
With the exception of snow on the ground, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
