For the record book...Jackson's first goose egg.
In the battle of boy vs. iron coffee table leg, the table won.
Fortunately, Daddy was home to keep me calm. Jack was over it in a matter of minutes. I, on the other hand, was a bit of a wreck as I watched a huge purple welt develop. Of course, Jackson wanted nothing to do with the bag of frozen peas I tried to put on his head. Drew assured me it was quite ordinary and would be the first of many bumps, bruises, cuts and scars. He thought it made Jack look tough. I was just happy that it faded into a less menacing bruise by bedtime.

Oh, the poor guy and poor mommy too. I remember those early walking days when they stumble on everything... Ok, technically we're still there.
I'm glad Daddy was there to calm everyone down. That's what daddies are good for b/c mommies can't be expected to keep their cool at times like that.
