Unintended Hiatus

I'm back!

I didn't intend to take a three week break from the blog.  It just sort of happened.  And you know, I kind of enjoyed it.  We've had plenty going on since August 20th.  Lots in fact.  I guess I just found myself living in the moment instead of living in the moment and then writing about it.

At any rate, I'm ready to get back to sharing over sharing the happenings at the Elser household so stay tuned over the next few days as I get you caught up.  I'm working on organizing pictures from an impromptu stop at the Kansas fiddling and picking championships, a visit from Nana & Papa and a trip to Washington DC (which also marked Jackson's first extended stay at Gram & Grump's and Drew & my first solo vacation since becoming parents).
