Snow

This morning we woke up to the first measurable snow of the year (on Feb. 13, crazy huh!)  It's not much, maybe 2 inches, so no sledding or massive snow men in our future.  But Jackson was excited none the less.  He talked about the snow all the way to school this morning.

He asked if we could throw snow balls after school.  (Sure!)

He talked about the importance of wearing gloves or mittens when there is snow outside.  "You have to keep your hands warm, Mom."  (That's true.)

He told me that I was driving too fast. "The snow makes the roads slippery you know, Mom."  (Don't worry, I'm being very careful Jackson.)

But my favorite exchange went like this:

Jack:  "Mom, we don't pee in the snow."
Me:  "No, we don't pee in the snow.  That would be naughty."
Jack:  "Yeah.  that would be bad.  We just pee in the rocks."

I was so busy trying to suppress my laughter I didn't even bother to correct him.

Where does he come up with this stuff?
