The kids were adorable.
Jack's still not much of a strawberry fan. He prefers picking them and running laps up and down the rows to actually eating the berries (his father has the same aversion, I don't get it). Attia, on the other hand, couldn't get enough of them. We were just cracking up as she ate berry after berry - sometimes even sneaking a bite right off the vine!
We left the farm with almost 30 pounds of strawberries amongst us.
Next up was a laid back, pre Mother's Day BBQ at our house. Once again, the kiddos stole the show.

And if that's not adorable enough, check out the cutie grilling burgers! *giggles*
No fancy party planning this time around. Just polka dot napkins, striped straws (in strawberry colors, of course) and a couple of cheesecakes.
It really was a lovely day. Of course, we missed Austin (who was stuck at work) and the Bartel branch of our family (who are stuck in North Carolina - ha!), but you guys were with us in spirit.
Stay tuned to find out what exactly we did with all of those strawberries!
