Yesterday morning the boys ran outside ahead of me to load up for school/work. As I was gathering everything (purse, laptop, lunch, sweatshirt for Jack, cards to drop in the mail, etc.) and preparing to follow them out, Jack came rushing back in the house:
"Mom! Something happened! You've gotta see this!"
Turns out our neighbors, who have a high school boy at home, were TP'd over night. This was a first for Jackson. He though it was hilarious and couldn't believe someone would throw toilet paper all over the trees.
Drew & I explained it is something silly that big kids sometimes do to play tricks on each other and that we were sure they would clean it all up soon (and they did last night).
He stared in awe at the display (which really was a pretty impressive effort) for a few minutes and then suddenly got a very serious look on his face.
"But Mom," he said. "Now how will they wipe?"
