Eleven

I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.

Those were the vows we made shortly after this picture was taken.  When it was just you and me against the world.  Before the mortgage, the careers and the responsibility that comes with them.  Before we were parents and our whole world shifted.

Here we are eleven years later.  The decisions are bigger these days.  And the consequences much greater. But the joys are so much more than I ever imagined they could be.  And dreams I never even knew have been realized.

We are better together.  And there is no one else on earth I want by my side as we walk through this life.

So I tell you again, from the bottom of my (older and wiser) heart:

I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. 
I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.
