Week in Review

While it was a busy week at our house, there's not much I would consider "newsworthy". Maybe that's a good thing! A few highlights:

• Had a lovely dinner with the Elsers in Topeka Wednesday night.
• Worked all day Saturday - our Board of Directors was in town to conduct an orientation with our new CEO. It was a long day, but all events went off without a hitch.
• Javier, our contractor, was in and out all week. Mostly out. They're a bit backed up due to the rainy weather so we didn't see as much progress as we had hoped. All of the repairs are now complete and the only "extra" that he stumbled upon was the need to replace our front door. Nothing earth shattering as we kind of wanted to do that anyway. Hopefully next week the paint will be applied, railing finished, new door mounted, lights hung and then we'll have pictures to share.
• And my favorite...today marks the start of week 12!

Next week should provide some much more interesting blogging. I'll report on progress on the house, our next doctor appointment (on Tuesday) and my big reveal at work!
