Halfway

20 weeks ~ we're halfway there!

While I shudder at the thought of how much is left to do in the next 20 weeks, at the same time it's really getting exciting now. We've ordered furniture for the nursery and picked out his bedding. I've started checklists of all the items we want to register for or purchase before his arrival. I am clearly showing now ~ no more hiding that baby bump. And best of all, I feel him moving and kicking every single day. In fact, this weekend I've been able to feel his kicks on the outside of my stomach. I haven't made it to Drew in time, so he has yet to experience the movement, but I know it will happen any day now.

I've been lucky to have an extremely easy pregnancy thus far and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we continue on that path for the 2nd half. But we're on the downhill stretch now. And halfway feels great!
