Say Cheese

I got a new toy today! I've finally replaced my archaic digital camera with the snazzy new Canon PowerShot A2000IS. I've had my eye on it for awhile now and finally picked one up at Circuit City this afternoon. While I haven't read the whole manual yet, I did skim through it briefly and I'm loving it! It's easy enough for a novice like me to use but is also loaded with features should I actually become more of a photographer in the coming months. Which is my plan. After all, the perfect subject is scheduled to arrive in early January!

In other news, Drew & I cleaned out the nursery today per my to-do list and our insane schedules between now and the painter's arrival on Oct. 13. The room is now all but empty (what's left will remain for baby) and ready for the painter. True to form, I now have a full trash can and 2 bags for Goodwill, but it was a good project done. Naturally, I took a photo of the almost empty room with my new camera.
