It started on Thursday when Holly gave me my very first Mother's Day gift from Jackson. She painted his feet green (which I hear was pretty comical as he is quite ticklish) and pressed them onto ceramic feet that I can hang on the wall. I will put them in my office, where I spend the majority of my day. They are darling and it really struck me how much he has grown. The kid's feet are not small!
The surprises continued on Friday when a beautiful bouquet of Gerber Daisies (my favorite) arrived from my Mom & Dad. They match my living room perfectly (as if my Mom would have it any other way...like mother, like daughter) and make me smile every time I walk by.
What a great start to what is sure to be a fabulous weekend!
