I'm getting ready to pack my bags. 7:30 am flight tomorrow, which (assuming there are no delays or travel woes) means I'll be home in time to pick Jackson up from day care.
The boys have done great. We're pretty sure Jack is about to cut another tooth (which would explain all the pooping and the lack of naps during the day) but it sounds like he & Drew had a good time being bachelors this week. No battle scars for either of them.
As for me, it was a very successful trip. I accomplished everything I needed to with the resort staff, had a great meeting today, visited all 5 of the golf courses that will host our tournament and ate at some fantastic restaurants. It felt good to be in business mode for a couple of days. Of course, it doesn't hurt to be staying in a little piece of paradise. La Quinta Resort & Club is truly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
But I'm ready to go back to mommy mode. I miss my boys and can't wait to give them a big squeeze. Won't be long now!
