Christmas in Review, Part I (Gram & Grump's)

Here it is January 2, 2011.  Another year come and gone and I have yet to write about our fun-filled and blessed holiday celebrations that started way back on Dec. 18th.  Where does the time go?

I have a hunch it's going to take me a few posts to get it all in, so check back over the next few days for the full series of The Elser Family Christmas 2010.

The first official celebration was at Gram & Grump's house on the 18th (Drew's birthday, #2 of our December birthday trifecta).  They were headed to Carolina to be with the Bartel clan on Christmas so we got to celebrate early.  We joined Austin & Kate in Junction City for brunch and gifts.

In his words "My Bike!"

Grump is keeping Jackson well equipped in cutting edge cycling gear - as his new strider bike shows.  Jackson loves it and we can't wait to turn him loose at the park when it warms up.

Unfortunately, Drew ended up with a nasty flu bug that day (that he later shared with me, ugh!) so it turned out to be a rather unpleasant birthday.

The bright side was Cortney's arrival.  My BFF and Jackson's "Auntie" was finally in the same time zone - for a whole week!
