Oh, did he love it? We've hemmed and hawed over getting one for the family. My only concern is durability with Linus. He LOVES my phone, but I'll need a replacement soon.
He LOVED it! (As did I, for that matter.) If they weren't $500 we'd have one for sure. I have a friend who's son is autistic and his therapist and school have both recommended that they get one for the educational value it can offer a child with special needs that other mediums can't. Kind of fascinating really.
I would have a similar concern with durability (esp. since they are so pricey) but it's not much different than the iphone, really.
I've been kidding my parents that they are going to have to add an ipad to Jack's christmas list now since they started this whole thing!
I'm pretty sure all Jack would have to do is put a big smile on his face and bat his big eye's and say "Na Na would you buy me an iPad" and he woould have one of his own. I know I wouldn't be able to say to that cute face if he was my graandson! NaNa's are suckers for things like that!! :-) Love you Nancy! Aunt Mary

Oh and the "chicken game" is one of L's favorites still. "A shark? A shark doesn't live on a farm," followed by huge giggles.

Thanks Mary. I think I can see a shopping trip to the apple store in our future (especially if Papa reads this blog).
