Some of my favorite activities so far:
Attending the Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade in Downtown Lawrence (even despite the rainy, dreary day).
Decorating Jackson's very own tree in his room.
If you look closely, you'll see the Elf (another of our absolute favorite Christmas traditions) in the picture below.
Writing a letter to Santa.
We have also read lots of Christmas stories, eaten a few candy canes and done a craft or two.
Hard to believe we're already halfway there. Stay tuned...there's more fun to come!

I love doing it too. This year, there are a lot more crafts b/c Linus has more patience for crafting this year and I can sit down and rest.
I'd love to know more about what you included. A few of our favorites this year -- Pretending to make cookies with Christmas spice playdough (rolling, cutting, and decorating without the stress of perfection), decorating his own mini tree (like Jack did), and crafting a silly little fun foam house (found on sale at Michael's).
