Another Drop in the Bucket

According to the current extended forecast, yesterday was the last 100 degree day for at least the next week.  Hallelujah!  If that doesn't call for a celebration, I don't know what does! 

So off we went to Tad's Tropical Sno for a cold summer treat and Jack's first taste of shaved ice.

He wanted red & blue on his sno cone (Jayhawk fan that he is) so 1/2 blue raspberry and 1/2 cherry it was.

I tried Strawberry Kiss (strawberry+lemon) and, for the record, it was fantastic.

Jack was rather indifferent about the whole experience when I asked him if he liked his sno cone; although, the smile on his face and the fact that he polished off over half of it tells me differently.
