There was one small setback. My grand plan for the combo wood/iron railing fell through. Turns out the height of our railing is such that the iron balusters didn't work. To make it happen would have required custom fitting them which would be more work and more money. I decided to let it go and just rebuild it in wood as it was before. It's still a huge improvement.
