The Great Pumpkin - A Fall Tradition, Part II

Last weekend we took our first trip to Schaake's Pumpkin Patch. It was cooooold...but fun nonetheless.

First, we took a hayride to the field of pumpkins. Jackson thought the tractor was pretty cool.
There were pumpkins as far as the eye could see.
Schaake's has all sorts of fun activities for kids. A hay maze, a pumpkin catapult, farm animals to view, a photo area, concessions and a gift shop.
Luckily, I managed to get a picture of our big boy in front of the growth chart before a temper tantrum erupted.
He was tired of all the photo ops.

It was a great family outing and another fall tradition that I will look forward to every year.
