You are now caught up on Christmas 2010 from our first celebration at Gram & Grump's house, to Cortney's visit to all the holiday decor to Christmas Eve and finally Christmas Day. What a ride!
While reflecting on the hustle and bustle of the season for this Christmas in Review series it became even more evident what a blessed holiday it was.
Sure, we all received wonderful and generous gifts. And even a romantic and totally unexpected surprise. But it wasn't the material things that made it such a wonderful holiday.
It was talking about babies with my expectant sister-in-law, Kate.
It was hearing the squeals of "my bike!" as Jackson maneuvered around Gram & Grump's living room.
It was sitting on the sofa with my best friend and chatting about nothing...and everything.
It was a crackling fire in the fireplace of our warm and festive home.
It was having my entire family around one table together.
It was the look on my husband's face when he knew he had completely and truly surprised me.
It was Jackson dancing with his Papa. And cuddling with his Nana. And reading with Aunt Nikki. And finally warming up to Uncle Matt.
It was family.
Those are the moments that money can't buy. The moments I cherish the most. The moments I'll keep with me forever.
It was a Merry Christmas, indeed.
